Description

Before any discussion of Palestinian art, it is important and even necessary to address the most important event in the history of the Palestinian people- the Nakba. Therefore, in this course we will learn to talk about Palestinian art in three different periods: before 48, after 48 and today. We will observe works by major artists during these periods. We will understand how the Nakba influenced art, we will see how Palestinian art was characterized before the Nakba and how it is different today. We will raise the issue of art and activism and discuss concepts such as protest art, mobilized art and national struggle. Together we will analyze the elements of the story, the design of the characters, and the main themes that the artistic work deals with. In the course we will talk about how the political situation in the country has been influenced and influenced by Palestinian art and Palestinian society in general and we will examine where art is studied and especially how art is created under occupation. כיצד מתקיימת אמנות במרחב של כיבוש? לפני כל דיון בנושא האמנות הפלסטינית, חשוב ואף הכרחי להתייחס לאירוע המרכזי ביותר בהיסטוריה של העם הפלסטיני – הנכבה. לכן, בקורס זה אנו נלמד לדבר על אמנות פלסטינית בשלוש תקופות שונות: לפני 48, אחרי 48 והיום. נצפה בעבודות של אמנים ואמניות מרכזיים בתקופות אלו. נבין כיצד השפיעה הנכבה על האומנות, נראה במה התאפיינה האמנות הפלסטינית לפני הנכבה ובמה היא שונה היום. נעלה את נושא האמנות והאקטיביזם ונדון במושגים כגון אמנות מחאה, אמנות מגויסת ומאבק לאומי. יחד ננתח את מרכיבי הסיפור, את עיצוב הדמויות ואת התמות המרכזיות בהן עוסקת היצירה האמנותית. בקורס נדבר על האופן בו המצב הפוליטי בארץ הושפע והשפיע על האמנות הפלסטינית ועל החברה הפלסטינית בכלל ונבחן איפה לומדים אמנות ובעיקר איך יוצרים אמנות תחת כיבוש. *** מחיר הרשמה מוקדמת - 990 ש"ח - עד ה-10/09 מחיר רגיל - 1090 ש"ח - עד ה-01/10 מחיר הרשמה מאוחרת - 1190 ש"ח - עד השיעור הראשון של הקורס ___ *** Early Bird Price - 990 NIS - Until 10/09 Regular Price - 1090 NIS - Until 01/10 Late Price - 1190 NIS - Until first lesson of the course
